Got to do a few outdoor winter engagement shoots.

Engagements: Savannah & Tim

For Savanna and Tim we went to the botanical gardens at the university. She said she wanted flowers as opposed to buildings as a back drop. It looks like I will get to fly to Ohio to shoot their wedding next summer.

They were really great to work with... very easy.

I love this one... you can see how much he loves her.

So great.

This bridge always makes for great photos.

"Why, yes. We do model for Abercrombie."

He picked the ring himself...good man.

This was my favorite... love the colors... love this lens, it makes everything so pretty.

Engagements: Grant and Mar

I loved this shoot... we went down town to the park near the court house. With the way they are dressed it looks like I stumbled on a couple from the 50's having a romantic lunch.

Absolutely love this one!

This one looks like something out of a romance novel... steamy.

At this point I was like... Hey we haven't taken any normal photos yet maybe we should take a few for the grandparents.

Of course Grant couldn't keep it straight for very long.

Love the birch tree and the blue sky.

Really had fun with the 1950's look in this one.

This one reminds me of the ending scene in an old movie.

For James and Alicia's shoot we went to the botanical gardens up at UAF, and then to the Chena Wayside Park.

The tree tunnel can is really fun, although the lighting in there can be tricky.

Love the dead leaves on the tree with the snow hanging off them.

I'm not sure if you're supposed to climb into this sculpture or not, but we did anyway, and got some fun shots out of it.

What a beautiful morning.

Love the ice fog over the river.

This one was my favorite of the day, looks like it should be in a J. Crew magazine or something.
