As an artist I have a true love for people and so believe that a great portrait happens from the inside out. I believe that a portrait should, above all, capture the spirit, evoke emotion, and stir the heart. I like a mixture of urban and classic, contemporary and simplistic, ethereal and rustic. I don't necessarily seek out the classic smile, the perfectly centered image, the perfect pose. To me, portraiture is a Fine Art Service, one that requires strong technical skill as well as creativity. I enjoy working outside, rain or shine, as well as in my home studio. I maintain a work flow that is not contrived or unnatural; clicking away in moments where true feelings and emotions shine through, for that magical energy is the essence of portraiture.
